Is there anyone out there who knows WHY the Febfest at the East Lancashire Railway has been CANCELLED??? Money has been spent on advertising, posters etc, only this week I found an advert in Whats Brewing that wont be cheap!

Peter I did see your post but you said "Or so I heard" is that an assumption or is it official?
That is indeed the official explination.
Why do they need sponsorship? I don't know what they were planning (the website wasn't clear) and I didn't get to go last year but I would have thought that they would have made a profit on their own.

and it did say "due to lack of sponsorship"
The East Lancashire Railway website says "cancelled due to unforeseen cicumstances". Nowhere does it mention sponsorship! I can't find anyway, perhaps you could tell me whereabouts on the website it is hiding! The website by the way is
