Casa Tamaya Rserve Cab - Chile ???

A friend called me from Cabo San Lucas (Baja California), Mexico, just to marvel over this wine - Casa Tamaya Reserve Cab 2004 (Limari Valley). It apparently has very little distribution in the USA, so I've e-mailed them to find out who distributes it in California (where I live).

Seems like there's more availability in Europe, so I thought I'd post and see if anyone has any experience/thoughts regarding it.

Thanks.

Sorry.... Should've mentioned that Casa Tamaya is a Chilean winery.

It is sold here in Delaware, US, but the distributor has some connection to the winery, and visited last winter. $11.49

I found that there 2004 rsv Cabernet Sauvignon was a bit too heavy on the green pepper tastes without much fruit (was 2004 a particularly cold year in Chile). It did have good acidity (i like fairly acidic wines though) and was fairly tannic.

However, I did like the rsv Chardonnay. not the traditional oak & cream tastes, crisp and fruity, some vanilla and butter tastes.
