"Drinkable" wine

I prefer to taste wines that somebody else paid for. Generally they taste better when someone else bought them.
Machabuca,
I looked for your comment, but my news reader did not show any. Did I miss something?

I would tend to agree. The mark of a good wine is with the last pour. If you wish that you had another bottle handy, it is good. If you reflect to the first glass - well, not so good. I've had to go into the cellar, because the last glass demanded that I do so. That, plus the guests clamoring for MORE!
