South Florida

Hi

I am trying to do some searching for a family member and not having too much luck. They live in NJ and had a very nice wine cellar in their home and they are retiring in Southern Florida and need some type of wine storage for a large number of cases (40 or more).

Anybody have any names of places that do that - a friend in CA said it's fairly common there.

Thanks, Jill

There are a lot of people in Florida who have converted rooms and closets in their homes to wine storage. If one has the room and intends to continue to collect as well as drink the wines it is probably the best solution and least costly over all.

ABC wine and spirits, the state's largest chain, has wine storage and many store-it yourself places with air conditioning are advertising wine storage. Your member will simply have to look around a bit.

Your friends should also communicate with the Miami-based internet group that by coincidence is mentioned at the same time as your query. In case your server did not get the postings, here is an excerpt. I have never talked to them but they have a good reputation throughout Florida:

Besides some ABC stores try International Wine Cellars in Miami.
