Although I have much respect fro alt.food.wine, sometimes more authoratative forums develop outside the usenet. For example, I refer to saxontheweb.net for the most active, authoratative opinions instead of the usenet. Likewise, are there more authoratative, or more active and classified forums on wine?
Are there more authoratative forums on wine on the internet?

This forum is authoritative enough, believe me!
Other active forums include Robin Garr's Wine Lovers Discussion Group (WLDG) and Mark Squires' Wine Bulletin Board on eRobertParker.com.

I've been there in former times, but the group dissipated after a redesign a few years ago. The actual WS boards make quite a youngish impression to me.

Steve Tanzer on the International Wine Cellar site also has a message board but it is difficult to know how authoratitve the posters are.
In addtion to those already mentioned, take a look at

There is a UK bias, but it has posting from all over the world.
