I have no problem with that, nor I have with screwcaps. There are many occasions when the looks is almost a mystic thing and is as important as the wine itself - but for everyday drinking? Why not? Even for many informal settings I wouldn't be ashamed if the wine is good - most of the time I serve wine from a decanter anyway.
Of course, granted the wine is delicious - otherwise, hell no.

That says most of it! I remember how dubious my sister in Britain was when I brought a wine box as a present. They kept it on display to surprise their friends before finally sampling it and being surprised at its quality.
Good wines, yes I would drink from a box,. Bad wines? I would not drink them from a box I would not drink them here or there I would not drink them anywhere
The good ones, I would pour them from the box into a glass first... :-)
