Down in London for a meeting, Vauxhall bridge road.
Went to pop out for a pint at the Fullers Pint and Pie pub just down the road.
Went to step out of the door of the office and plod walked into telling us to stay inside as there was an incident.
Typical, my one and only chance to try 1845 dashed, we sneaked out the back to another pub where the beer was so bad I had to have a Guinness (or three)
Anyhow, meeting finished at 4pm, train at 4.30, sod it, Ill pop in for a pint!!!!
Didn't realised that 1845 was 6.3%. Managed to finish it (yummy) and made it to the train with seconds to spare.
Sitting on the train I thought "Hmmmmm, 6.3, it doesn't seamed to have taken effect like I thou......................"
Next thing I know I'm half way up the life and an hour has passed!!!
Top beer though, I hope its still about next time I'm down!
